OIL FOULING V TWIN V 4
« on: July 01, 2012, 02:51:37 PM »
HAS ANYBODY HAD FOULED PLUGS RIGHT BANK ONLY ON THE V2 AND V 4 ENGINES ? I THOUGHT RINGS WERE BAD BUT AFTER CHANGING THEM, THE SAME CONDITION EXISTS.I'M THINKIN IS HAS TO DO WITH OIL SLINGING IN THE CRANCASE AND THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION OF THESE ENGINES SINCE ONLY THE RIGHT SIDE CYLINDERS ARE AFFECTED. I ONLY KEEP THE RECOMMENDED 2 OZ. OF OIL IN EACH ENGINE. IT IS SO BAD, THE V TWIN WILL ONLY RUN ON ONE CYLINDER DUE TO THE PLUG CONSTANTLY BEING DROWNDED IN OIL. ANY SUGGESTIONS?  MIKE
