leads on an exciter coil

i have build jerrys power house ic engine and am using his exciter coil with the tim-6ignition system,there is no instruction as to what each lead is, do i assume the black is the positive the white the negitive and the red goes to the spark plug, or what. thanks for your help

Hmmmm - you should have received an instruction sheet with the coil.  If you want the complete instruction sheet, send me an e-mail at allen@outpostenterprises.com and I will send it to you via e-mail, but for now, the basic wiring is as follows:

RED = battery +
BLACK = battery - (ground)
WHITE = spark plug
